11 months

Unfortunately I have been a bad mommy and haven't taken pictures of the little guy for a while! Sleeping is still up and down. We are in Oregon right now, and traveling is always hard on a little one's sleep schedule. He has really been starting to show his temper this last month. He gets quite frustrated when he can't open something, can't figure out a toy, or of course when something gets taken away from him!

This last month Easton:
Had his first fever
Points the remote at the TV
Said his first word "uh-oh"
Close to walking
8 teeth (4 on top and 4 on bottom)

Easton's Room

Second born kids really can be jipped sometimes. Poor Easton didn't have a room but a construction zone until he was about 3 months old! Slowly his room is coming together. I still want to do a photo wall above his changing table, and we will add some real deer antlers - but besides that his room is pretty much done! The most recent addition was the awesome signs of his name done by my friend Anna (A Girl and Her Farm).

10 months

Easton is such a fun and crazy little guy. He is getting more and more active every day, but is also just so cuddly and loving! He loves it when I whisper sweet nothings in his ear, and will nuzzle his face on my face. Yet if he sees the gate open at the bottom of the stairs he makes a b-line and speedster crawls right for the stairs! He is super proud of himself every time he stands up on his own and took his first 3 steps on Aunty Becca's birthday! He hasn't walked since, so it was probably a fluke, but hey - we'll still count it!

Took his first 3 steps on 11.8
Loves playing with outlets
Knows "no-no"
Stands up all on his own frequently
Has 7 teeth (4 on top, 3 on bottom)
Is more interested in feeding himself than eating  babyfood
"talks" on the phone by saying "uuuuhh"

Pumpkin Patch

Bozeman's pumpkin patch isn't quite like those we have enjoyed in lush Petaluma CA, and in the Willamette Valley, OR. I just don't think the growing season is long enough here for a big pumpkin patch. Never-the-less, it is a fall tradition that still affords some great opportunities to be outside and take colorful pictures of the kiddos! Isabel wasn't too keen on the tractor ride, (just like last year) but as you'll see Easton had no qualms what-so-ever about that ol' tractor!
